Review by hotel critic
I had the pleasure of spending a week at the Museum Hotel Orbeliani during my recent trip to Tbilisi, and I must say, it struck a nice balance between luxury and value. While there may be fancier hotels in the area, this one truly offers something special that money can't buy-a welcoming atmosphere created by genuinely caring staff. The room was comfortable, with a delightful view that made waking up special. The amenities were well thought out, including an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. Plus, the housekeeping service was consistently thorough. The on-site restaurant provided a taste of traditional Georgian cuisine, albeit at a premium price. The quality of the food complemented by an extensive wine selection makes it somewhat justifiable. The breakfast had a nice variety, ensuring a solid start to your day. The hotel also offered helpful services like tours and ticket assistance, plus a paid airport shuttle for added convenience. If you're evaluating your budget against what you'll receive, Museum Hotel Orbeliani could prove to be a wise choice in Tbilisi.
